i gazed at her, and couldn't help but wonder why Connor was okay with it now.
"You know that spell or whatever it was you put over him, what did it do?" i asked.
"It was a protection spell, from the demon that posessed him before." she said. I nodded, and our food had arrived just then. We sat eating and talking animatedly about the days event, when i saw a blonde walk in. I grimaced slightly, and i didn't even need to tell her who it was. She stiffened in her seat, and Alora had spotted us just then. She sauntered over.
"Well, well... if it isn't the little dynamiter." Alora hissed. Gabby ignored her with all the energy she could muster, and I stood up.
"Alora, you better leave now."
"No way, I want to give dynamiter a piece of my mind." Alora snapped. I looked at Gabby and shrugged, before sitting down again.
"YOur funeral." I muttered. Alora looked at me, and then turned to her.
"I aim to get one of them, and I never lose. You hear me, dynamiter? Never." Alora replied, and walked over to her party. I rolled my eyes, and watched Gabby eat in silence.
"Don't listen to her, Gabby." I said, and she sighed. *He's right. Gabb's you know my type, and she isn't it.* connor's voice broke. she laughed at that, and i knew he said something to her. I paid for the bill, and stood up. I pulled out her chair, and helped her up. Together we headed out, and stood by my car.
"Where to now, darling?" i asked, as i slid my arm around her waist. She snuggled closer, and I laughed softly.
"Anywhere, is fine with me. As long as i'm with you, i'll be ok." she replied, with a twinkle in her eyes.
"Had a nice dinner?" I whispered. She smiled, and looked up at me.
"Of course, I did. I enjoy dinner's with you, Edward. I love you." She whispered back, and tiptoed so she could kiss me. I leaned down so it'd be easier for her. Her soft lips touched mine, and i pulled her in close. We pulled apart a second later, and it began to rain. I quickly unlocked the door, and helped her in. I got in, and then drove her back to her house. As we got there, i noticed her father coming outside.
"I better go." i replied.
"I think he wants to meet you, Edward." she whispered, as she got out. Her father slowly walked down to meet her, and gave her a huge hug.
"How was school?" Lestat asked her. She rolled her eyes, and grimaced.
"That bad, huh?" Lestat said, and watched her go inside. Her mother, was standing in the doorway peering out.
"Come in, Edward. Our home, is always open to you." Lestat replied, and headed back inside. I followed silently, and nodded to her mother.
"Good evening, Edward." Narcissa said, and moved aside. I followed Lestat and Narcissa into the sitting room, and noticed the piano that sat in the sitting room. I glanced at Gabby, and she made a face. I sat down at the piano, and slowly played a tune.
"That was lovely, Edward. Gabriella, why don't you join him?" Lestat said, and she slowly made her way over to the piano bench. I smiled, and she sighed. I shifted over a bit, and she began to play.... a haunting melody that sounded like she had composed it herself. I stared at her in awe, because i had no idea she played the piano.
"Wow...." was the only thing i managed to say.

Aspen sat in the cafeteria at lunch time, her mind in a muddle after an eventful day. After the soccer incident she had said little to Emmett Cullen, though he had often been shooting her amused glances every time they passed one another in the school hallways. Now she sat with Ethan, whose protectiveness had lessened little - if not none at all - since Aspen's first day. She didn't mind at all, really. He was stopping her from letting loose and slaughtering the rest of her schoolmates.
"So how are you liking school so far?" Ethan asked her, absently tossing an apple in the air with a single hand.
Aspen shrugged, looking at her knees. "It's okay, I guess. But does it have to be so boring?"
Ethan laughed a bemused laugh. "I should have known. Even the mortals are falling asleep in class most of the time. It must be ten times worse for an ex-nymph."
The "ex" part stung, even if he hadn't intended it to, and Aspen's brow pulled down. "Ethan, I'm still a nymph."
His expression was pained. "Yes, but you're one of us now."
Aspen sighed, toying with the food - the props - on her own tray. "I wish I wasn't. I still can't get over this feeling that I'm about to kill everyone in sight." She regretted these words instantly, as Ethan looked equally as hurt as she had a few moments ago. "Sorry," she ammended. "I didn't mean it like that. I'm just not quite comfortable with it yet, that's all."
Ethan exhaled, relaxing a little. "Forget it. You're learning." He glanced to his left, lifting an eyebrow in evident disbelief, his face almost mocking. "Tell me one thing," he said. Aspen looked at him expectantly. "Why is Cullen staring at you?"
Aspen followed his gaze, only to find Emmett sitting at a table on the other side of the cafeteria, a goofy smile on his face as usual. Her brow furrowed as she wondered why on earth he was making such a scene of their one-day connection. Three others were with him, evidently vampires as well. One on his left, blonde and stunningly beautiful, looked almost hurt as his back faced her.
"Aspen?"
"Yeah?"
"What's going on?"
She sighed, dismissing the matter with a wave of her hand. "It's nothing. We met in gym, and he ran into me. The teacher was worried I had a brain hemhorrage or something."
Ethan absorbed the information. "He... ran into you?"
"Yeah," Aspen said exaggeratedly. "Big deal. I'm a vampire, remember?"
But Ethan wasn't listening. The look on his face spelled out pure concern, and he spoke with force. "I don't want him near you, Aspen. Those Cullens are no good. Stay away from them."
She couldn't believe his words. "What? He didn't seem that bad. In fact, he was really sweet about it--"
"Aspen," Ethan warned. She drew back slightly, made aware by the tone of his voice that this was not the time to argue. "Mark my words. They're nothing but trouble. Please, for me, keep your distance. Don't talk to any of them."
Aspen sighed. She wasn't used to rules, especially when they were unreasonable. But even so, she assured Ethan that she would abide by this one. "Okay," she said softly. His smile was one of pure relief.
"Good. Now let's get out of here. I think it's time to go hunting."

I noticed that Edward was speechless, and bit my lip.
"What's wrong?" I asked, as i looked at him. He smiled, and kissed my forehead.
"Nothing's wrong. I loved it, Gabby. I was just shocked. I didn't know you played." Edward whispered, and faced the piano. I saw that half-smile and knew he was getting an idea of some sort.
"Mum made me take it when i was little. I play every now and then, when the mood hits." I replied.
"Hmmm...." Edward said, and took a sheet of blank music paper. He started composing part of a melody, and then held out the pen. I looked at him, and took it nervously. After a few seconds, i sat down next to him and looked over his melody... and then filled out my own parts. After it was finished, we both glanced over at my parent's.
"Play it." Narcissa said. I watched as Edward's hands moved about the keys, and smiled.
When Edward got to the part I had filled out, he stopped and let me play.
"Go on, my music of the night." Edward whispered, knowing i wasn't going to play. He stood up, and i slid over. I took a deep breathe and played the notes, all while hoping i wouldn't mess it up ~ surprisingly, i didn't.

"Beautiful." i whispered, and took the pen. I silently wrote on the top of the paper: (Gabriella and Edward's song). She smiled, and looked up at me. I took her chin in my hand, and kissed her softly. Silently she got up, and headed towards the stairs.
Seeing that i wasn't following her, she came back down and grasped my hand in her's.
"Where," was all i got out.
"To my room. I want to show you something." she said, and i glanced behind my shoulder at her parent's.
"What about your parent's?" i asked.
"They wanted me to show you, for a long time. I did this, last year... when you and ..." she started to say but stopped. Tears had started to cascade down her face, like the flow of a majestic waterfall... and it killed me to see her like that.
"Gabby, what's wrong?" i asked, as i lifted her chin. I brushed away her tears, and she sat down on the edge of her bed. I sat down next to her, and put my hand on her's. Silently, she got to her feet and opened her desk drawer. When she returned to the bed, she held in her hands a package of some sort. Silently, she held it out for me to take. I took it from her and opened it, inside the package was a picture of the two of us. It was framed, and i was touched deeply.
"Why didn't you give it to me then?" i asked.
"Because you were with Bella, and i know she didn't like me or trust me."
"I love it, Gabby. It's something i'll cherish, always." i whispered, and pulled her into my lap.
"Good, i'm glad." she whispered, and gently lay her head on my shoulder. We sat together, the melody we wrote humming through our mind.

At my dad's office, i found out everything i could about Stefan and why he was after Gabriella. I needed to know, so i could warn Edward... if that is who she wanted to be with.
*Edward, meet me at the lane before your house. Bring Gabby.* i thought... and it was returned with *alright, you better have a good explanation. Will do.* I rolled my eyes, and went to visit Lorne... who was hard at work trying to find something that would get rid of Stefan.

I stood up, and carried her downstairs. She looked a little surprised, and then she understood.
"Is it ok if i take her out for a walk?" i asked, as i looked from Narcissa to Lestat. They nodded, and walked outside and shut the door behind me. I could tell by the worried look in her eyes, that she knew it was about this Stefan guy.
"Connor." she said, and i nodded. I set her gently into my car and got in. In two seconds flat, i made it to the lane before my house... and got out. I opened the door, and lifted her out gently. Connor and a friend of his were standing there waiting.
"Why?" i asked. Connor looked at her and noticed that she was shaking.
"Gabb's we'll find a way to get him to go away for good." Connor said, and looked at me.
"Take good care of her, ok? The reason you're here, is because of Stefan... a notorious Vampyre wanted by demon hunters. He's after Gabriella, because of some incident that happened when she was younger." Connor replied. Wordlessly, i listened to Connor and glanced at Gabby every now and then. I gently pulled her close to my body, and she stopped shaking.
"Edward," she whispered.
"Yes?"
"don't let him take me away." she whispered, her voice oddly shaky. connor turned away from us, and i knew how hard it must've been on him. He turned back to us a few minutes later, and I looked at him.
"I promise you Connor, i'll take good care of her. Like you, I wouldn't let anything harm her." i said, as i held out a hand. Connor shook it, and we discussed the matter. I still held her in my arms, and after a few minutes of discussing i felt her body go limp. Connor quickly led us to his appartment and i lay her on the bed.
"Gabriella?!" I said, as i knelt by her side. a few second later, she came to.
"What happened?"
"You passed out. What'd you see?" I said, calming down.

Syena stayed away from Bella after their confrontation in the cafeteria. It wasn't worth the drama that it would spark, and she knew better than to try to get the others on her side. Even Jasper was against her on this one, and she fought hard to accept that. Bella had to deal with this herself. Syena had other problems, anyway.
The source of those problems, tiny Alice Cullen, walked past her in English class a few days later, and casually dropped a note on her desk. Syena, checking to make sure that the teacher wasn't looking, grabbed it and unfolded it.
Meet me after school in the wood, it read. Come alone. We need to talk.
Syena looked up and caught Alice's eye. Minutely, she nodded. Alice nodded back, and the two girls went back to studiously ignoring each other.
Syena spent the rest of the day anxious to find out what was going on. Jasper, who wasn't in her grade, sensed her anxiety, and came in to fetch her halfway though history. Using the excuse that she wasn't feeling well, Syena fled the classroom, her hand tightly clutching Jasper's.
"What is it?" he demanded, once they were safely out of earshot.
Without at word, she handed him Alice's note. He read it swiftly, then handed it back. Their eyes met, and he scowled.
"She has no business doing that," he snapped. "She knew."
She put her hand on his arm. "Jasper, it's not her fault. Even though she knew, it doesn't mean that she has to be happy about it. And she's right. We need to talk."
"I won't let her hurt you."
Syena burst out laughing at the idea of tiny Alice being a threat to her. Jasper's dark look quieted her laughter. "She wouldn't... would she?"
"I don't know," he said grimly. "But I know that all of the rest of us try very hard not to anger her."
"I'll be fine," Syena said, hoping that his ability to sense her moods wouldn't extend to seeing through fake bravado. "She won't hurt me."
"Be careful," he insisted. "I don't want to lose you."
She reached over and drew him into a hug. Very quietly, she murmured, "I don't want to lose you either."

Cody pov

Nate began his story

You Did WHAT!you never kiss a girl when she breaks up with you and likes you alot." I was fustrated because i knew that they were meant to be but how would it work out? "I'm sorry." he replied. I sighed confused and fusterated. "Okay Nate lets get you and kenshin to talk." He shook his head as if to say no way man. But I grabbed him by his wrist and dragged him back to wear i left Alice and Kenshin.
Kenshin looked up. Eyes red from crying. She smiled half-heartedly and ran up to Nate and tok him in her arms. "I'm so sorry Nate I am so sorry." she repeated over and over. I let go of his wrist and backed up to Alice. I put my arm around her waist, she looked up at me and smiled. "Can we go to that place now? Please.." she asked. "okay lets go." I smiled. "Hold on okay. I got to tell her something." I nodded my head. She went over to Kenshin who was weeping into nate's chest. She tapped her on the shoulder and told her that she would catch up with hr later. Kenshin smiled and nodded to Alice and Thanked her. Then she walked over to me. I smiled and took her hand. Come on I said wrapping my arm around her waist as we walked away from the school

I saw Kenshin mouth Thankyou so I mouthed your welcome back. I smiled at her and then walked out of the doors. We got into her car while i told Spencer to drive mine back to my house. I drove Alice's car down to where we were going....She stumbled out of the car clumsily..I slightly laughed at her and she turned bright cherry red. We got to where we were going after about a five minute walk she gasped in amazment at what was in front of her

Oh my I glanced in front of me. It was beautiful there was a little hill rising were in front of it sat a lake. the rest was a little clearing. I ooh and ahhed for a good four minutes... then i ran up to Cody and kissed him passionatley. "thank you cody." "Now what did you want to talk about?" I backed up off him and sat down on the grass motioning him to sit down. "Cody what has been going on with the school? How did you become a werewolf? Why is there vampires? Please tell me." i said taking his hands into mine.

I looked into her eyes and decided to tell her the thruth about the pack. But I would leave the vampire part to a vampire to tell her. "Alice I have to tell you that I can't tell you about the vampires....I can tell you a little about the pack though." She frowned "Why can't you say anything about the vampires?"
